Stitchery
Stitchery is a combination of cross stitch and embroidery, both a form of needlework.
Patterns presented here, are those stitcheries created by Australian designer, Helen Stubbings of Hugs 'n Kisses. These particular patterns are not limited to stitchery; use Helen's Colourque'TM technique and these projects take on a whole new life all their own!
Colourque' technique uses colored pencils to recreate the look of traditional applique. You can use this technique with small projects or on larger, full-sized quilts. For more information about Colourque'TM (pronounced "kulla-kay") technique please click here.
